Domain name/ URL
The most commonly used meaning of a domain name is a web site “address” or URL ,which is usually typed to access it (e.g. http://www.mycompanysite.co.uk ).
It is also a second part of an e-mail, which goes immediately after the ‘@’ symbol (e.g. me@mycompanysite.co.uk).
URL is the more exact term, and is also used as an “address” of every web site page (e.g. http://www.mycompanysite.co.uk/faqs).
